Mary Slayden

Mary Slayden, 77, of Pine Bluff, went home to be with the Lord on March 24, 2024.

She was born May19,1946. She was preceded in death by her father David Davis Sr. and her mother Annie Massey Davis.

Survivors include her spouse, Harold L. Slayden; three brothers, Horace Davis and his late spouse Dorothy Ellison Davis, Joe Davis Sr. and his late spouse Betty Gibson Davis, along with Starling Davis; and two sisters, Effie Davis Brantley her late spouse Milber Brantley, and Gladys Odell Davis Hawkins and her late spouse Pat Hawkins; two brothers, Albert Davis Sr. and late wife Martha Faye Davis, and David Davis, Jr. and his spouse Frances Johnson Davis; two children, Darlene Beatty Cothran and her spouse Lacy Cothran, and a son Ray Powers and his partner Missy Kagley; two grandchildren, Briar Cothran and his spouse Tonie Cothran, and Shawna Diane Cothran Poplin and her spouse Noah Poplin; one greatgranddaughter Madelyn Cothran; many nieces and nephews.

She was born and raised and lived in Pine Bluff. Mary Davis Slayden will be missed and remembered.
