RISON - The Cleveland County Solid Waste Transfer Station on Hwy. 79 at Rison also accepts solid waste on Saturdays in addition to weekdays, County Judge Jimmy Cummings has announced.The transfer station will be open the following hours: Monday: 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Tuesday: 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Wednesday: 7:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday: 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. The transfer station accepts household waste, and also serves accepts recyclables like metal, cardboard, magazines, newspapers and electronic waste.All dumping is free to Cleveland County residents. A form of identification or proof of residence within the county may be required to dispose of items.
