RISON - Rison High School’s Future Business Leaders of America were recently featured in the Arkansas Business Leader newsletter:In the heart of Rison, the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter has embraced the true spirit of Christmas through their remarkable acts of generosity and kindness. This festive season, they embarked on a mission to spread joy far and wide, touching lives both near and far.One of their standout initiatives was packing and mailing 50 meticulously prepared boxes for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child. These boxes, filled with essentials and small gifts, were meticulously packed with love and care, destined to bring smiles to children in need. The impact of their efforts reached as far as Malaysia, where each box found its deserving recipient, spreading warmth and joy across continents.But their giving spirit didn't stop there. Rison FBLA orchestrated a week-long Christmas Joy celebration at the school, complete with dress-up days that infused the halls with holiday spirit. From festive sweaters to Santa hats, students and faculty alike joined in the merriment, fostering a sense of unity and cheer throughout the campus.Understanding the importance of community, the students of Rison FBLA took it upon themselves to spread joy beyond the school walls. They crafted heartfelt Christmas cards and hand-delivered them to residents at the local nursing home, brightening their days with messages of love and hope.Moreover, their commitment to giving back extended to supporting local charities dedicated to ensuring every family experiences the magic of Christmas.
